Working with Hurricane Motorsports, I designed and converted a S550 Mustang IRS to fit the Hurricane chassis and to accept 15" pin drive wheels. This car is the prototype of their current production. Once I got the body home, I then went to work modifying the cockpit, firewall, footboxes and engine compartment to replicate a 1965 Shelby. The hood has a replica tube frame with skin, radiator tank and shroud copy the 65's. The rim of the cockpit was rolled to replicate the 3/4" tube frame of the AC body. The Hurricane tunnel was removed and replaced with an aluminum tunnel (ala ERA) and copies the interior of the AC.
