I never liked the cheap plastic center caps that came with my wheels, so I decided to just make some.
I machined some discs out of 1/4" aluminum plate with a recess in the center the right size for one of the hood emblems. Got 4 of those from Finish Line.
The aluminum disc is mounted to the original center cap mounting piece with goop glue and a large rivet.
I brushed the aluminum and put a clear powder coat over it to keep it from oxidizing.
