Howdy AA,

Cover selection depends a lot on what your need is. From my observations most are using their covers inside a garage to keep dust off the paint and offer protection from bumps/scratches while stored next to their daily drivers and amid shop work. Others may select for greater outdoor weather protection.

My personal choice was a Plushweave Premium from California Car Cover Company; it was made for the size/body shape of the 427 S/C with a single roll bar, but it dose NOT have gussets or pockets for the roll bar or windshield. Without the gussets, it is pretty easy to unfurl and cover the car, and provides maximum paint protection (dust and bumps/scratches wise). I keep my car garaged and have deployed the car cover so that it has remained protected every night for the last 19 years.

I have the same style Plushweave cover for a C6; its custom fitment did come with gusseted pockets for the side mirrors.

When I am on a road trip in the Cobra and rain is expected, I add a lightweight rain-proof cover over the Plushweave. I got a generic Pep Boys cover for this.
