Hi everyone! I'm new to the site and wanted to introduce myself. I live in Bee Cave on the outskirts of Austin. I just purchased a used classic roadsters Cobra replica build that was finished in 2003. I am the third owner and am looking to refurbish and upgrade the car slowly in the garage. I also have a 2017 Shelby GT350. I have loved cars since I was a kid and have always been a Shelby/Mustang guy. I look forward to meeting and interacting with everyone!

I don't know if I'll be able to swing it for this weekend. My cobra is still in the shop unfortunately. It needed all sorts of work when I bought it. Brake overhaul, carburetor, new 100 amp alternator have all been installed over the past couple weeks. The *hopefully* last problem is that the voltage is dropping to below 12 when the lights are on and there isn't enough power going to the stereo head unit so it's flickering/rebooting. I'm hoping my shop will have it figured out soon, or get it to the point where I can drive it home and install a new wiring harness in the garage.

Wow lots of work. You can always drive your daily until the Cobra is finished.

That's a bummer on the fall meetup. That's the same weekend as the Austin Formula 1 race.
