I just wanted to introduce myself to the DFW group.

I’m finishing up my FFR Gen-3 Type 65 build and wanted to say “hi”.

I’m in the Denton/Corinth area of the DFW metroplex and look forward to meeting everyone.

My plans are to drive the coupe in gelcoat for at least a year prior to paint to shake down anything that needs to be addressed.

Welcome, Marshall! Nothing wrong with gelcoat. I'm still driving in gelcoat after 4 years and 16,000 miles!

The DFW group meets on the 1st Saturday of each month - once the location is decided (usually last minute!) I'll post it up here and on the calendar.

I also have been doing a 3rd Saturday cruise / day trip somewhere farther out ... will resume in fall when the middays are cooler!
